<p>Hypnosis is a special state of mind that includes heightened suggestibility in the unconscious willingness to follow instructions.  This trance is really a state of focused concentration.</p>
<p>The principles of hypnosis revolve around putting the subject into a suggestible state of mind, and implanting the desired suggestions.  In many cases, you may want to hypnotize someone without their realization.</p>
<p>Hypnosis works best when the subject is relaxed and free of tension.  It is helpful, if they are in a comfortable atmosphere and relaxed state of mind.</p>
<p>If the subject knows they are being hypnotized, you can ask for their cooperation.  Have them try to recognize any tension in their body and begin relaxing.  Tell them to focus on places where they are tense and begin a mental effort to relax those areas.</p>
<p>If you are trying to hypnotize someone without their knowledge, you can still try and make them relaxed and reduce any tension.  Insure that there are no obvious distractions, like loud noises or bright lights.</p>
<p>The secret to hypnosis is in getting someone to focus inwardly and enter a trance or state of suggestibility.  Once they are in a trance, you can begin implanting suggestions.</p>
<p>You can find many courses and writings that talk about the real secrets to hypnosis.  The website at hypnosis-x.info has some of the secret and controversial methods, though you may be able to find them by searching the web as well.</p>

<p>If you have a problem with alcohol or drugs, perhaps it is time to seek help from a drug treatment center or an adult rehabilitation center.  An addiction to alcohol, opiates, methamphetamines, narcotics or other substances, whether they are legal or not is very difficult to overcome on your own.  Many people become addicted to prescription drugs or OTC drugs, and do not believe it is a problem because they are legal.</p>
<p>It is advisable to go to a drug treatment center for an evaluation of your dependency.  After the evaluation has been completed the treatment center can assess what your individual needs for detoxification is.  Detoxification is the process your body goes through to cleanse itself of drugs or alcohol.  </p>
<p>The detox process for alcoholics and drug users can be very uncomfortable and possibly medically dangerous.  Depending on what substance you are addicted to the drug treatment center may find it necessary to gradually taper down your use until you are at a zero dose. The medical staff may prescribe other medication to ease the discomfort while closely monitoring your medical condition.  It is not advised to just quit cold turkey.  The time needed for detoxification can vary from patient to patient.  It depends greatly on the substance that you have been using and the severity of your addiction.</p>
<p>Once you have been safely detoxed, the drug treatment center will likely begin behavioral therapy, counseling, group activities and even occupational therapy.  They will teach you how to live your life outside of the adult rehabilitation center without using substances to cope with situations.  They will teach you skills that you will need in order to stay clean and sober for the rest of your life.  You will be taught to build a support network that will help you prevent relapse, and what to do in the event you do relapse. </p>
<p>When selecting an adult rehabilitation center, find a treatment center that offers aftercare sessions. Aftercare attendance is as important as the intensive treatment.  Patients very often do extremely well while secluded in the safe haven of the treatment center.  It is more difficult to remain sober when you are out in the real world again.  The follow-up or aftercare sessions will help you transition and will reinforce your new skills.  Many drug treatment centers will include family and loved ones in the follow up sessions.  </p>
<p>When you think of being admitted to a drug treatment center or an adult rehabilitation center, you may worry about the cost of such a program.  There are many drug treatment centers located all over the world.  Most state governments operate treatment centers for people that do not have insurance or have be ordered by the courts to attend treatment.  Almost all insurance plans will cover most of, if not all of the cost of a drug treatment center.  Do not let the cost get in the way of entering an adult rehabilitation center; your life may depend on it.</p>

The berries, rather like a blackberry in color, grow naturally there. Because they are full of antioxidant vitamins, it is like a fruit with curative powers is just out there, growing wild. <p>As their popularity increases, more and more farmers are harvesting the berries in the wild. They can safely be shipped all over the world. Part of their advantages lies in the fact that the pulp can be frozen without harming its nutritional value. These days, they are indeed shipped all over the globe.</p>

<p>My husband&#8217;s mother is delighted with her son&#8217;s increasing fitness. She is even content to see &#8216;less&#8217; of him!  He&#8217;s told her about the new body type exercises that have made all the difference and she can not believe it. </p>
<p>This mom loves her son dearly but has never gotten used to the idea of him leaving town to live elsewhere (with anyone else)! It is unbelievable that a mother like this would ever be pleased to see &#8216;less&#8217; of her son but she is.  Why?  She doesn&#8217;t want him to repeat her own unhealthy lifestyle and develop her poor health.</p>
<p>It is because her own health has taken a turn for the worse over recent years. She wants her son to make sure that he does not follow the same direction as she has without knowing about the value of tailored body type exercises. She didn&#8217;t watch her diet, was overweight for many years and sadly, has developed high cholesterol as well as Type 2 Diabetes and suffered a stroke recently. </p>
<p>Now she weighs less than at any time in her married life. Her cholesterol levels have dropped but, unfortunately, her life is ruled by diabetes. She wants her adult kids to take their health and well being seriously, by following a good diet, and exercising regularly.</p>
<p>Much to her delight, her son has lost 11 pounds already, has heaps more energy and is well on the road to better health. His most exciting discovery has been about the nature of his endomorphic body type. Now he knows how to combine new programs of body type exercises for his body and get the best results.</p>
<p>Now my mother-in-law tells anyone who will listen about her son&#8217;s weight loss and his healthier lifestyle.  She explains that he has always struggled with this because he never fully understood how some exercises are best for each body type. She says that she is sure he will lose even more weight as he continues to eat well and speed up his metabolism through the right kind of body type exercises. </p>
<p>Our last visit to my mother-in-law was a great success.  She noticed his diminishing size and said that his body looked as toned as it was when he was a well known surfer! We could tell that she was delighted that he looked so much healthier and were pleased learn that she had taken up body type exercises that we know will keep her fit and healthier. </p>
<p>She farewelled us as we drove away calling out &#8216;Goodbye Son. Hope to see less of you&#8217;.  We nearly hit an oncoming car!</p>

<p>The name makes it sound like just another gimmick but this diet plan is anything but. The Rice Diet is a weight loss program that is run from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Participants in the plan have experienced great success.</p>
<p>Rice diet is supervised by physicians.  It can be followed for as little as two weeks depending on the needs of the individual.  The diet requires, however, that you stay at the facility in the entire duration of the program.</p>
<p>The diet was developed almost eighty years ago. The doctor that developed the diet wanted to see if certain diseases could be affected by what we eat. He was hoping to find that by changing the diet, the progression of conditions like diabetes could be reversed.</p>
<p>Of course Rice is the main staple ingredient in this diet.  the good doctor noticed that people eat rice every day had a much less frequent occurrence of hypertension, stroke, and diabetes. in asia, for example, where Rice is eaten in almost every meal these diseases are hardly ever seen.</p>
<p>The participants of the rice and are also allowed to eat fruit, vegetables, fish, and lots of rice.  The food choices are specifically limited in order to achieve rapid weight loss.  The size of individual portions are also strictly controlled.  Dieters learn what normal portion size should be, in our country portion size has gone bananas.  People eat huge portions consuming extra calories resulting in extreme weight gain.  The rice diet seeks to remedy that.</p>
<p>Fat and salt consumption are restricted.  Salt is especially avoided by patients with high blood pressure.  The often causes problems for people who are addicted salt.  Unfortunately, many people are unaware that using a lot of salt leads to bloating and fluid retention.  dieters are taught how to season two with spices other than salt.  Fat is kept at a minimum in order for the body to use its own fat stores as fuel.</p>

You can find twisted walking sticks or shillelagh carved, wooden canes and ones crafted from metal and other materials. Walking sticks or canes are mostly used as a walking aid but can be used for other things such as hiking or climbing steep trails or even for self defense. A nature photographer may also use one to steady a camera in the wild.</p>
<p>You may recall one of your grand parents using a cane or walking cane on walks or just getting around. When doing a lot of hiking or walking a walking stick or hiking pole can help relieve the pressure on the knees and ankles.  You are less prone to falls because a walking stick or hiking pole can add stability on uneven terrain. If you do a lot of beach exploring on sand and around tide pools a walking stick is a great addition for this uneven terrain and environment and for moving things in a tide pool before handling with the fingers.</p>
<p>A walking stick or cane can be also used for self defense.  A special cane called a shellelagh is often made from blackthorn wood and sometimes some other hard wood and has the appearance of a natural cane. The handle usually the heavy end of the stick may be filled with lead. If surprised by an aggressive person or animal this can also be used for self defense. Regardless a good walking stick or pole can have the same results if needed while hiking or walking.</p>
<p>If you do any amount of hiking or walking you may already have a walking stick, pole, staff or cane.  You may already have a few walking sticks, canes or poles for different occasions when you go out for that hike or walk but it nice to have one available.</p>

<p>Did you know that going green can make you live longer? Odd as it may seem it is a true statement. What is healthy for the earth is healthy for you also. Using naturally grown unprocessed foods, less driving, and so many other things will improve your health and increase your lifespan. </p>
<p> When you eat the naturally grown food you are giving your body fresh food, you are also keeping pesticides and chemical fertilizers from contaminating the earth. Antibiotics and growth hormones will be eliminated from the environment by eating meat from animals grown without using them. You are also keeping a lot of dangerous things out of your body. Processed foods are stripped of nutrition and are likely to clog your arteries causing heart problem.</p>
<p> Joining your local Freecycle list is another great way to live greener. Don&#8217;t throw things away - put them on the list and look there for things you need instead of buying new items. Odds are, someone will want what you&#8217;ve got to give away. By the same token, if there&#8217;s something you need, it is more than likely to be found for the taking there as well. This keeps these items out of landfills and saves everyone money.</p>
<p> There are also plenty of green products which you can use around the house. These are inexpensive and can end up saving you a lot of money - for instance, compact fluorescent bulbs. These are a great improvement over regular incandescent light bulbs and cost about the same while using far less energy and lasting a lot longer.</p>
<p> You can also get rid of your existing yard lights and replace them with solar powered lights. These do just as good of a job of illuminating your outdoor spaces, but use no electrical power. You can find solar powered yard lights in a variety of pleasing designs and you can install theme yourself without the assistance of an electrician. Solar powered holiday lights are also available, letting you save money on your electric bill while dressing up your home for the holidays.</p>
<p> Another great way to save money while doing something to live greener is to use rechargeable batteries - these have greatly improved in recent years and are long lasting, easy too use and of course save money as well. When the batteries are finally used up and cannot take another charge, they may be recycled at almost any hardware store.</p>
<p> Once you start doing this, you will feel much better about yourself and also see how easy it is to live green. You will probably be surprised at the money you gain too. You can rest easier knowing you are doing your part to keep the earth greener and healthier for future generations as well as right now.</p>

<p>All right, so you want to get strong and go to the gym to work. You may think that pumping weights is all you have to do, but it is not that simple.</p>
<p>It is nutrition that plays in big role when it comes to recovery and growth. You need to change your diet according to the increase or decrease of your muscle mass. If you gain muscle you need to eat more. If you loose muscle you need to eat less. How can you observe what is occurring inside your body?</p>
<p>The first is to monitor your weight to see if your goal to put muscle on is causing an increase in bodyweight. If the scales show that weight are staying the same or going down then its time to look at the diet and eat more. If the weight is going up because your stomach is getting bigger then you are eating too much. But be cautious, you can expect to put some bodyfat on when trying to put muscle on, but you want to monitor that the dreaded fat isn&#8217;t going on to much.</p>
<p>Using body fat calipers is a great technique to assess whether muscle or fat is increasing. You can use the calipers every other week. If muscle seems to be going down according to your calipers, that is the evidence that you are not eating enough good nutrition. If the calipers reflect that the percent of bodyfat is increasing then you will have to consume less.</p>
<p>Decent gyms should offer a set of calipers, which should give you true readings as to the results as long as you ensure the same person takes measurements each time. Using the callipers and finding the millimeters and your bodyweight you can use the chart and find the percentage bodyfat you have.</p>
<p>In order to figure out what the amount of your body fat you have, you need to take your body weight, in pounds, multiply it by your body fat percentage. This formula will tell you what your total body fat is. Subtracting this amount from total weight will estimate your free fat mass. This total includes not just muscle but all structure in the body, but it is a good estimate for our purposes.</p>
<p>You should record and keep the figures you calculated for total body fat and for fat free mass. When you have your measurements taken you can check to see if the percentage of bodyfat has increased. If you do the correct exercise and eat correctly then your body fat will go down. And with the decrease of body fat, you will find that your muscles and fat free mass will go up. If you are not eating correctly you will discover that your fat free mass, muscle is decreasing and the bodyfat is increasing.</p>

By not eating enough you set your body up to have low energy throughout the day.
